Natalie Craver knew when she saw the two men in dress uniform on her doorstep.
"These were the people I had been warned of," said Mrs. Craver of Celina. "You know what they look like, what they drive. The nightmare had come to our home."

The portrait is part of the Fallen Soldiers Project, which donates artists' portraits of killed soldiers to their families. The organization is hosting a Sept. 11 benefit golf tournament and honors banquet for the families of Texas soldiers killed in the line of duty.
Her husband, Army 2nd Lt. Johnny Craver, 37, had been killed in Iraq.
