When Our Troops Come Home Community

A special soldier was lost Sunday February 22nd, 2009

Sunday, I lost a very close friend and mentor. At 59 years of age, Donald W. Townsend succumbed to Leukemia. He was a VietNam veteran. He was a delegate for our county Veterans Assistance Commission for years and a Superintendent of the same commission for 8 years. He will be missed.
