Rules of Engagement

Welcome to the WOTCH Community

The WOTCH Community is a place to ask questions, share experiences and offer support to our returning troops, their family and friends. This is not a place to argue the morality or politics of any war, past or present.

1. The purpose of this place is to honor our warriors and offer support to their families and friends as they begin the process of reconnecting with our troops returning from combat.

2. Harassing, offensive, vulgar, abusive, hateful or bashing communications (especially those aimed at sexual orientation, gender, race, color, religious views, national origin, or disability) will not be permitted.

3. Think before you post or speak. Do not post anything in the public forum that you would not want to see published in your local newspaper.

4. Never post another person's personal information without their express written consent.

5. Personal messages, personal emails and other forms of personal communication are to be kept personal. They are not for sharing with the community at large unless all parties agree to publicly sharing the information in writing.

6. Message board posts that contain sexually explicit, obscene or vulgar language will be removed.

7. Message board posts that solicit or offer explicit or X-rated GIFs, JPEGs or other graphic files will be deleted without notice.

8. Don't spam the message boards with commercial solicitations. Linking to your own blog or other sites is permitted, but flagrant solicitation or advertisement is not.

9. Posts containing commercial or product/service promotional messages - included but not limited to references to internet sites, URLs, or links to other commercial web sites will be removed if deemed to be spam or solicitations.

10. Information copyrighted or owned by any individual or entity other than the member should not be posted on the message boards or other parts of this site without the written consent of the owner. If such an event occurs, the individual posting the information shall be held solely responsible. WOTCH shall not be held responsible for member-posted information that may violate copyright law.

11. WOTCH reserves the right to remove a post which does not relate to the topic being discussed in the forum or discussions.

12. WOTCH reserves the right to organize message boards in order to best serve the majority of our members. For example, narrow-interest or minimal activity topics may, at the webmasters discretion, be relocated to a more appropriate folder or message board, or deleted entirely.

13. WOTCH reserves the right to prohibit or delete messages that are thought to violate applicable law or that may be harmful to other members, the communities that comprise WOTCH, or the rights of the site owner.

14. Please send user name Ken Jones, PhD a private message to report any terms of service violations. The offending post will be investigated and removed if appropriate as soon as possible.
